Jorja "Sanickro Elegance" left us on a cold and wintery December day, just two weeks before her fourth birthday. Our hearts broke and we will never stop missing our gorgeous and amazing girl. At 15 months old, Jorja had her first seizure, the reason for which we will never know. In spite of the best neurologists and holistic care, Jorja had a seizure on Dec. 8th, that she could not recover from. Finally, all that was left for us to do was to hold her in our arms, kiss her beautiful face over and over again, say good bye and release her from this world. Rest my girl...we will meet again one day.

If tears could build a stairway,
And memories were a lane,

A Tribute to Brody

Here's our rescue boy, Brody.
He was wonderful and will be missed, always.

Our hearts are broken, our minds confused and we miss Brody more than I can say. But, I'm glad we had him for the time we did and believe he was saved from the shelter and returned to us after his first adoption because he was meant to be ours. We couldn't have loved him more.......he was our boy, our Brody. 

His spirit shines through.....he was beautiful from the inside out.

 

Roycroft Secret Wish Of Kalidunn, "Tasia" went to the Bridge just four years after our Jorja left us, also on Dec. 8th, 2006. Through the most cruel twist of fate, the gate was left open by someone.....who, we'll never know, but Tasia ran out. We were to find out later that a family picked her up but were so enarmoured with her, they kept her with them, bringing her with them to their friends house that evening. They knew nothing about her breed, only that she was beautiful and wonderful. When she went to the door, they let her out to go potty, without a leash or supervision. Tasia ran into the road and was hit by a car on a cold, snowy December night. Needless to say, when we found out what had happened and that Tasia was indeed gone, our hearts broke nearly in half. She will never be forgotten and I doubt our hearts will ever completely heal. Rest sweet girl...thank for the years, the love, the kisses, the laughter and everything wonderful that you gave so freely.
